Congratulations to Greg Loveday, Stephen Wilson and skip Sean Semler who had a comfortable win over George Lindsay, Stephen Lewis and skip Scott Denham.
On a slow green Sean’s team started brilliantly and after 10 ends held a commanding 14-2 lead. Gradually that lead was whittled back – at the 20-end mark just 6 shots separated the 2 teams, but Sean and Co steadied with a couple of brilliant Championship-saving shots by Sean, and despite Scott’s best efforts in particular, were worthy winners with a 25-19 victory.
