ICongratulations to Jill Kehoe, who won the Women’s Championship Singles on Wednesday, beating Ann Sullivan by a large margin. Both played a fantastic game and are to be congratulated on beating some very good players to get to the final.

In the fourth round of Open Pennants all our teams had very close losses. In Grade 4 and Grade 7, section 2 it could have gone either way with the result open until the last bowl. Better luck next week we hope.

The Phoenix Greenhorn is underway with some excellent bowls played last Tuesday. The standard was well worth watching.

The fourth round of the Waterman Trophy Mosman resulted in a win to the strong Dee Why team over Mosman by 18 shots..

We learnt of the death of Doug Crease last Friday. Doug was a member and casual player for some years before ill health kept him from the green. Our sympathy to his wife, Jeannie and family.

All members are asked to estimate what size new shirt they want and advising Rhian of this by Wednesday 22nd March. Sizes can be swapped once shirts arrive but we need everyone to register a size to assist us in how many of what size to order.
