About the Waterman Trophy
The John Waterman Trophy is an invitation only event. Ten Clubs will play Mosman individually each week starting the 13th May, with the best teams competing in playoffs to determine the winner of the Trophy. This event has been running since 1947.
It is unique as Mosman plays each visiting club for 10 weeks, and those who beat Mosman by the greater number of shots compete against each other to win the Trophy. In other words, we get some great bowls but cannot win the trophy.
